Tatia Petrova is a Petrova doppelgänger and the same person whose blood was used by Esther to turn The Original Family into vampires. Tatia was the first love of Klaus and Elijah as well as the childhood friend of Sophia. She was brought back to life as part of Esther's plan to use against Elijah.

Early HistoryEdit

During the Middle Ages, Tatia grew up knowing The Original Family and became friends with Sophia. While growing up, Elijah and Klaus fell in love with her. She confessed to Sophia that she had feelings for Elijah but she was also in love with another man who came to be her husband.

As an adult, she lived in a small village with her husband and their child and she made Sophia her child's godmother. Tatia also became Danielle's godmother. After her husband was killed in battle, she decided to find love again which led her to another chance with Elijah. Later, Esther used Tatia's blood to create her children into vampires after the youngest child, Henrik was killed by the werewolves.
