Niklaus Mikaelson (a.k.a. Nik or Klaus) is the Original Hybrid and the main protagonist of The Originals Fanfiction. He is the son of Ansel and Esther. He has six half-siblings:Elijah, Kol, Rebekah, Freya, Finn and Henrik one adoptive sibling, Sophia, and is also the adoptive uncle of Danielle. Klaus is also the step-son of ASSHOLE with whom he had a strained relationship before the latter got killed. Little is known about his werewolf side of the family due to ASSHOLE'S onslaught. Klaus is also the first undead creature in the history of the world known to have impregnated a woman.
He is now living in New Orleans with his family.
He is close friends with Caroline Forbes KLAROLINE whom he is in love with and best friends with Marcel Gerard.
Klaus has reclaimed New Orleans to what the Originals (except Sophia and Danielle) once called home. He works together with Marcel to rule the French Quarter.Also,

Klaus
Klaus is highly impulsive and easily irritated. He is very headstrong but doesn't take betrayal easily. Despite his hateful nature, he does find pleasure in things such as music, art, and literature. He manages to manipulate people so he can play to win.
He has shown to have a softer side when he was around Caroline whom brings out his humanity. Klaus is not as forgiving as his half-brother Elijah, he rarely forgives anyone. He often shows sadness when his younger adoptive sister, Rebekah is disappointed in him.

Sophia
Sophia is Klaus' younger half sister and he isn't always happy about that but deep down you can tell that he loves her. She is one of the only people he can trust and depend on throughout his life. She has always stood by his side and has been loyal to him. Sophia truly believes Klaus can be saved by his own demons. (See Klaus and Sophia.)
Rebekah
Rebekah and Klaus have a history where there's a lot of tension in their relationship. He's betrayed her many times, and he's never been the most loyal sibling, whereas she's always been loyal to him. But she always finds a way to come back to her big brother. Klaus will always care for her.
Danielle
Klaus acts like he doesn't care about her. But they love each other. They don't spend time together all the time. Sometimes it seems like Klaus is avoiding her. She is really angry that he is having a a baby with Hayley.
Marcel
Marcel and Klaus
Marcel is Klaus' best friend and former student. It's complicated but they respect each other. There's definitely a history between them. Also, Marcel is very much in favor of embracing your true nature as a vampire and that’s something he learned from Klaus and that’s something that they certainly have in common. When Klaus returns to New Orleans after 200 years, he finds that Marcel has taken control of the city. Seeing that his former student has used everything he's taught him and achieve glory, Klaus wants what he has, forming a rivalry between the two. But Klaus still sees Marcel as his old friend.
