Danielle Solas, formerly Danielle Asia Mikaelson is a main character, heroine and one of the most powerful witches in The Originals Fanfiction. She will later become one of the female leads and the protagonist of Call of Magic.
She is the daughter of Cecilia Solas and Nathan as well as the younger twin sister of Malia Solas and half-sister of an unnamed brother. She is also the adoptive niece of Freya, Finn, Elijah, Klaus, Kol and Rebekah including being Elijah's goddaughter. After her birth, her family was forced to become vampires after the death of the youngest child, Henrik Mikaelson. Unable to give up her only child, Sophia brought Danielle along with the rest of the family as they left Mystic Falls. Sophia and Elijah became Danielle's mentors as she grew up. Sophia helped Danielle in learning her magic and Elijah taught Danielle how to fight and defend herself. After she turned sixteen, her mother gave her the choice if she wanted to stay a witch or become a vampire. Danielle chose to become a vampire so she could be with her family forever however after she was turned, her magic had not faded, making her an Original Hybrid: Half Vampire-Half Witch.
According to Sophie Deveraux, Danielle would bring death to all supernatural creatures. It was revealed by Aria that Neoma lied dormant within Danielle and she must die in order for Neoma to be awakened. The day of the Blood Moon, things began to go chaotic in New Orleans and Danielle went under an unexpected transformation. As she was kidnapped by Felix, Sophie killed Danielle in order to break the seal on Neoma and for her to be awakened. Sophia, Klaus, and Rebekah all witnessed her death and were devastated by it. Danielle entered the Other Side and could only communicate with Vanessa Josephine. The Original Family were devastated by Danielle's death caused a further rift between them. Sophia began to go down a dark path. Elijah hope to bring his family back together for his niece's sake. After the war against Neoma concluded, Danielle was brought back to life by her mother with the power of the element, Life/Spirit and returned to being a witch. She eventually became the first Queen of New Orleans. During her fresh start as a witch, she decided to do some traveling and brought Davina and a bodyguard that she never wanted; Leon Dominic, along with her.
Upon her return to New Orleans, she soon found trouble with the resurrected Mikael, Esther and Finn. While having to deal with the family problems, she continued her role as Queen of New Orleans and had done an extraordinary job. Danielle also became Leon's mentor and as she grew closer to him, he became a reminder of her when she used to be a vampire.

Danielle has a strong relationship with her family especially her mother who has always been there for her and was her mentor in magic. During her whole life, she has always look to Elijah as a father-figure as he was always the one who mostly helped Sophia care for Danielle as she grew up and after becoming a vampire, he became her mentor on learning how to fight and defend herself. She also formed a close bond with Davina whom she helped controlling her magic.
Danielle is a member of Qetsiyah's Family and a relative of the Mikaelson Family.
History
10th Century
She was born to parents, Nathan and Sophia Mikaelson. Her twin sister, Malia died of stillbirth and she never knew about her. Danielle and Malia are of Black British, Mediterranean (Assyrian), and Greek descent.
Shortly after the death of Henrik and Malia, Sophia and her siblings were forced to become vampires. Sophia couldn't bear to part with her child when she became an Original Vampire and Danielle was the only thing controlling her blood lust. Sophia took Danielle along with her and along the way, Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus helped her raise Danielle. While growing up, Danielle was barely told about her father because Sophia never liked bringing his name up in conversation. The reason for this was because Nathan betrayed their family and was the one who killed Sophia, turning her into a vampire and Danielle was never told of this. So instead she began to see her uncle and godfather, Elijah Mikaelson as a father-figure. Sophia and Elijah became Danielle's mentors. Sophia taught Danielle about magic and after choosing to become a vampire, Elijah helped her with her vampirism. Also when becoming a vampire, she somehow became a hybrid; half witch-half vampire.
1800s
In the late 1800s, Danielle was with her family in London. Danielle learned from her aunt Rebekah of how Sophia is so good with children. Sophia has the gentle love that many people long for or what draws them to her. When she was pregnant with Danielle and felt her moving inside of her, it made Sophia feel overjoyed. Its what made her heart grew more and more. After Danielle's birth and they all (except Danielle) were turned into vampires, Sophia felt she was given a purpose in life. To reunite her family to the way it once was. She wanted to give them love and a new home no matter how long it takes. But every time, something keeps coming between the family, trying to tear them apart. She still doesn't give up though. Danielle's birth was a blessing and she is Sophia's heart. She was shocked by this as she thought she knew everything about her mother.

Described as generous, funny, smart, friendly, and overachieving. She values learning and is a intelligent and knowledgeable person. Quiet, kind-hearted, compassionate and caring towards her family and friends. She has some of her mother's traits. She usually acts more like a grown woman.
As Queen of New Orleans, she takes her duties very seriously and is very daring and clever enough to take on Esther.

Physical Appearance
Danielle
Long, straight or curly brown hair, large, dark brown eyes, tan skin, and always has a warm smile. Dresses girly but with a flair of funky style. She wears cardigans, mini-skirts and leggings. Her fave shoes are knee high converse and boots. She wears floral patterns with pink, blue and all kinds of colors.
In Season Two, Danielle will start to put her hair into a cute ponytail most of the season but at times will still wear her hair out. Goes more into makeup, lush, volumizing mascara, eyeliner, foundation and some nude gloss. Florals, ruffles, cute pumps, and more accessories.

Sophia is Danielle's mother. They have a loving mother-daughter relationship. Sophia wants nothing but the best for her and her daughter. Sophia is very protective of Danielle, and Danielle is protective of her as well. It is said by Rebekah while Sophia was pregnant and felt Danielle moving inside of her, Sophia's heart grew more and more. Danielle's birth was a blessing and she is Sophia's heart. Elijah Mikaelson

Danielle's adoptive uncle whom she is very close to. He would do anything to protect her. After killing her father whom betrayed their family, Elijah helped Sophia raise Danielle. While she was growing up, so not only is her uncle, he also is like a father figure at times. Elijah is always worried about Danielle, not wanting her to get hurt but deep down knows that she has a strong heart. TBA
Davina Claire
Davina is Danielle's best friend. They first met when Danielle shielded Klaus against Davina's magic. Some time after that, Danielle decided to help Davina with her magic. While learning from Danielle, Davina was able to trust her and see her as a friend. As time went by, Davina occasionally got visits from Danielle and continuing to spend more time together, they eventually became best friends. However, strange things began to happen to Danielle and as Davina tried to help her, they were attacked by Felix and his henchmen, leading to Danielle's kidnapping and eventually her death causing Davina to become devastated of losing her best friend. Danielle has a strong bond with her Aunt Rebekah whom would do anything for her. Rebekah helped Sophia take care of Danielle while she was growing up. Rebekah would always tell Danielle of stories about fairytales, myths, and about their family. As Rebekah was the first to find out that Neoma was inside Danielle's body, Dani made Rebekah promise not to tell anybody especially the rest of the family. After Danielle's death, Rebekah feels gulity of not telling the rest of her family the truth. Rebekah starts to form her own plan to get her niece back, mostly for Sophia's sake.
Niklaus Mikaelson
Besides her mother, Danielle loves Klaus very much and will always stand by him. Klaus has shown to be protective of Danielle and deep down has a soft spot for her.
