Benjamin "Ben" Reynolds plays an important part in the NightFall series and the romantic interest of Jayne Rutledge.

Ben was first mentioned by Brody and seen in glimpses of Brody's vision in Eclipse of the Heart. Jayne was told that she will fall in love with a man with dark hair. While being in a relationship with the unknown man, she will have doubts but there will be a deep love between them.

Ben is described as a very sexy and handsome man. He has light skin and green eyes. Described as relatively smart, athletic, tall, strong, charming. He is seen as one of the hottest men in San Francisco. Many of the ladies are attracted to him but he only has eyes for Jayne Rutledge after her arrival.
He prefers to wear leather jackets, t-shirts or tight v-necks, dark jeans, and boots. Whenever on a special occastion such as an important event or going on a date, he wears tuxedo's and dress shoes.
